360 Series

Aruba 360 Series outdoor Wi-Fi 5 access points

Low-cost 802.11ac Wave 2 for outdoor enterprise environments

A Wi-Fi experience designed for harsh outdoor environments

The Aruba 360 Series Wi-Fi 5 delivers cost-effective wireless connectivity to mobile and IoT devices in a wide range of outdoor and warehouse environments.

Cost-effective connectivity for outdoor enterprise environments

Able to survive in harsh outdoor environments and provide connectivity in warehouses and distribution centers, the 360 Series can withstand exposure to extreme temperatures and wind, persistent moisture, precipitation, and dust and salt sprays for extended periods. All electrical interfaces include industrial-strength surge protection.

Secure connectivity

Delivering seamless new protection, the Aruba 360 Series comes equipped with the latest security standard WPA3 and Enhanced Open. End-to-end encryption is ensured through the Aruba Policy Enforcement Firewall, while Dynamic Segmentation automatically enforces consistent policies across wired and wireless networks.

IoT-ready

The 360 Series includes an integrated Bluetooth Low Energy radio to simplify the deployment and management of location services, asset tracking services, security solutions, and IoT sensors. Allowing the 360 Series to be leveraged as an IoT platform for outdoor environments eliminates the need for an overlay infrastructure and additional IT resources.

Flexible management options

Available management solutions include Aruba Central (available in cloud-managed and on-premises options), as well as Aruba AirWave, which supports multi-vendor networks. Access points can be deployed with zero-touch provisioning to reduce deployment time, centralize configuration, and simplify inventory management.management.

Extreme weather resiliency

Providing low-cost connectivity in warehouses, distribution centers, and mobile and IoT devices, the Aruba 360 Series is ideal for harsh outdoor environments.

Entry-level outdoor and warehouse connectivity with Wi-Fi 5

With a maximum aggregate data rate of 1.2 Gbps (1.167 Gbps), the 360 Series comes with multi-user MIMO (MU-MIMO), four spatial streams (4SS), and support for 80Mhz channel bandwidth (VHT80) to quickly add performance and capacity to existing or wireless networks.

Weather resistant

IP66/67-rated and able to survive in harsh outdoor environments, the 360 Series can withstand exposure to high and low temperatures of -40°C to +55°C ambient in full sun.

Secure infrastructure

The latest version of WPA for enterprise-protected networks brings stronger encryption and authentication.

    • Enables proximity-based push notifications and location-based services for BLE-enabled mobile devices
    • Enables management for deployment of battery-powered Aruba Beacons

Spectrum analysis

    • Capable of part-time or dedicated air monitoring, the spectrum analyzer remotely scans the 2.4-GHz and 5-GHz radio bands to identify sources of RF interference

Wireless mesh

    • Wireless mesh connections are convenient where Ethernet drops are not available.

Choose Your Operating Mode
  • The 360 Series APs offer a choice of operating modes to meet your unique management and deployment requirements.
    • Controller-managed AP or Remote AP (RAP) running ArubaOS™ – When managed by Aruba Mobility Controllers, 360 Series APs offer centralized configuration, data encryption, policy enforcement and network services, as well as distributed and centralized traffic forwarding. Please refer to the Aruba Mobility Controller data sheets for more details.
    • Aruba 360 Series APs running InstantOS™ – In Aruba Instant mode, a single AP automatically distributes the network configuration with other APs in Instant mode in the WLAN.
    • Air monitor
    • Hybrid WLAN AP and air monitor
    • Secure enterprise mesh
  • For large installations across multiple sites, the Aruba Activate™ service significantly reduces deployment time by automating device provisioning, firmware upgrades, and inventory management. With Aruba Activate, Aruba APs in Instant mode are factory shipped to any site and configure themselves when powered up.
  • If WLAN and network requirements change, a built-in migration path allows 360 Series APs in Instant mode to become part of a WLAN that is centrally managed by a Mobility Controller.
